Position Offered: Registered Dietitian

Our Registered Dietitians are members of the health care team and provide nutrition and diabetes related education and/or medical nutrition therapy to our patients.
-Provides diet related education and medical nutrition therapy to individuals and groups.
-Works collaboratively with providers and the care teams to facilitate the care of patients with diabetes and other chronic/acute conditions according to evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
-Assesses nutritional needs and develops nutritional focused education care plans, evaluates and monitors appropriately.
-Current certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nutrition program.
-BLS certification required.
-Demonstrated excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing.
-Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV printout.
-Must be willing to participate in community outreach events (sometimes weekends or evenings, as needed).
