Untamed Nutrition Therapy, Inc is an outpatient nutrition therapy group practice for individuals struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. The mission of Untamed Nutrition Therapy is to provide and increase access to nutrition therapy to individuals in all walks of life seeking an improved relationship with food and body.
We have an opening for a registered dietitian with eating disorder experience working in-person and virtually with individuals and families in Monterey County, surrounding counties, and across California. This position is perfect for someone who loves providing nutrition therapy to people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds that are seeking a better relationship with food and their body. We are looking for someone who is weight-inclusive, anti-diet, social-justice minded, and LGBTQ+ affirming who is interested in a long-term position within a growing group practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with individuals and families, enjoys working as a team and collaborating with clients’ healthcare providers and therapists. Professionalism, excellent therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, self-motivation and self-awareness, and good organizational and time-management skills are essential for this position.
The potential candidate needs to be a registered dietitian in the state of California, preferably with experience in treating eating disorders in adolescents and adults. An ability and interest in providing family or group nutrition therapy is also a plus.
The owner will provide client referrals, marketing, electronic health record system, insurance company credentialing as needed, insurance billing capabilities, EHR and insurance billing training, individual supervision, training support, and CEUs.
Compensation: $40-$55/hour, sign on bonus, health insurance, 401K match, PTO accrual.
