We’re seeking engaging, evidence-based sessions for our April 9-10, 2027 virtual live conference—open to Registered Dietitians (RDs), Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTRs), and nutrition professionals.

PROPOSALS ARE DUE BY 11:59 PM ON AUGUST 16, 2026.

What we’re looking for:

  • Topics aligned with the 2025–2030 CDR Essential Practice Competencies
  • Clear learning objectives and actionable takeaways
  • Content presented by qualified experts, free from commercial bias
  • Sessions that address current or emerging practice needs
  • Presentations fulfilling CDR’s required CPE in ethics and health equity encouraged

  • Core competencies: Ethics & Health Equity; Leadership & Advocacy; Evidence-Based Practice; Communication; Technology & Informatics; Quality Management
  • Functional competencies: Clinical Care; Community & Population Health; Food Systems & Sustainability; Foodservice Management; Education & Counseling

Tips for a Strong Proposal:

✓ Be specific – Clearly state what attendees will learn and how they can apply it in practice.

✓ Align with CDR competencies – Mention which competency spheres your session addresses.

✓ Engage your audience – Plan for interactive elements (polls, case studies, Q&A).

✓ Show your expertise – Include your credentials, relevant experience, and prior speaking history.

✓ Avoid sales pitches – Educational content only; no commercial promotion.
