TIME SENSITIVE: ACTION ALERT!

CDA and District Leaders: Here are the instructions for the Action Alert letter which should be sent by WEDNESDAY of this week:
  1. Find out who your state Senator is using this link: http://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov. Put in your “voting” address. Of the two names that appear, only use your state senator now.
  2. Click on your state Senator’s name and you will be directed to his/her Website. Here you will find the Capitol address, phone # and fax #. You can email the letter to the legislation staffer or fax the letter to the Sacramento office. To email, the best way is to call the Capitol office and get the email address of the health legislation staffer, and email your letter to him/her.
  3. Use the Template Letter below (labeled #4), insert your Senator’s name, address, your letterhead, and use your titles in your signature. Feel free to personalize the letter with your own experiences. Please use your title as: President, LA District of CDA, or Vice President Communications Council, CDA.
